The novel Tierra de Reyes tells the intriguing story of love and revenge between two families in the city of Houston, Texas. The Gallardo brothers, Arturo, Samuel, and Flavio, seek justice for the death of their younger sister, allegedly killed by the Junco family.

When the Gallardo brothers discover that their younger sister Alma is in a relationship with Ignacio del Junco, a man much older than her, they try to separate them at all costs. However, things take a tragic turn when Ignacio dies under mysterious circumstances. Alma, devastated and pregnant with his child, attends his funeral only to discover that Ignacio was still married to Cayetana Belmonte, a powerful and haughty woman.

Cayetana humiliates Alma in front of her daughters, Sofía, Irina, Andrea, her unscrupulous son-in-law Leonardo Montalvo, her elderly father Don Felipe, and the household staff. The morning after this humiliation, tragedy strikes the Gallardo family when they find Alma dead by the river, initially believed to be a suicide but later revealed to be murder.

Devastated by Alma's death, the Gallardo brothers, fueled by a desire for revenge, vow to take down the Junco family. With the help of the housekeeper Soledad, who harbors a deep grudge against her employer Cayetana, they infiltrate the Junco Belmonte ranch disguised as construction workers working on the house of Sofía and Leonardo, all while concealing their true identities and plotting their retaliation.
